Wuddy 3

A desktop focus companion, now in its third iteration.

What it is

A small always-on object that keeps the time, the date and your next commitment visible without pulling you into a screen. It updates quietly in the background and stays out of the way the rest of the time.

My role

Form, CMF and enclosure, taken to a working prototype. The physical input is benchmarked against a reference tactile feel, because on a device this small the click is most of the interaction.

Built on a Raspberry Pi with a custom interface. Enclosure printed in-house across several iterations.

Where it came from

Wuddy began as the physical interaction component of NoGoMo, my B.Sc. thesis, and continues as an independent FS Kynd project.
